Now you’re cooking with gas…I mean beer.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of our post regarding cooking with alcohol, we felt that we should put up another recipe for all of you foodies out there.  I found this one when I was looking around at the  Food Network site.

Beer Sauce:

1 cup (250 ml) chilli sauce
3/4 cup (180 ml) brown sugar
1 cup (250 ml) tomato paste
2 cups (500 ml) plus 2 bottles Blue Beaver Beer
6 garlic cloves, chopped
4 tsp (20 ml) Dijon mustard
4 tsp (20 ml) Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp (10 ml) powdered ginger
1 tsp (5 ml) Cayenne pepper (optional)
1 tsp (5 ml) salt

In a saucepan, bring all the ingredients, except the two bottles of Blue Beaver, to a boil over medium heat while stirring.  Drink one bottle of beer while stirring.
Simmer for 7 minutes.   Drink second bottle of beer while simmering.

I encourage you to try this out you can pour it over your favorite type of meat like; chicken wings, beef spare ribs, or porcupine giblets before cooking.  Then serve the meal with a chilled Blue Beaver.  Let me know how it turns out for you.
