Well, speaking of having enough Blue Beaver Beer for the holiday season; I got to thinking about something. What are you doing for Boxing Day? You know there are all kinds of sales on that day. You’ll see prices so low that you’ll think that the store managers/owners have gone insane. You can find electronics, furniture, gently used Christmas trees, clothing, DVD’s, CD’s, DUI’s, IUD’s and all kinds of other things that you just can’t live without, marked down to way below cost. All you have to do is wake up at 2:00 a.m. and run down to the store and be the 37th in line (because all the really "smart" people started lining up immediately after Christmas dinner). Of course there is another option. Send your spouse/significant other/housekeeper/favourite Blue Beaver Girl to the store (with a limited allowance) and you can sit at home, drink all the Blue Beaver that you can keep down and watch some sort of sports game or the entire series of "Three’s Company" on DVD; which I’m sure Santa will bring you if you ask real nice. One thing to bear in mind though, you need to pick up some extra alcohol a couple of days before Boxing Day. I would suggest you take some time off work and hit the liquor store right at opening on the 23rd. The line-ups shouldn’t be too bad then.
That is a good idea because every year I never had the energy or spirit to go through the shopping madness. I try a few times I never ever find what I want perhaps I’m overwhelm by the amount of people and searching. This I will make a list of what I possibilities want and send someone to buy it for me. Thanks.
