Redneck Bar & Grill

Greetings everyone, I was just deeply engrossed in surfing the ‘net.  Then I stopped for a minute to answer mother nature’s call.  When I came back to my computer I made a rather startling discovery.  I had been surfing non-stop for the past four days.  My only nourishment was from Blue Beaver Beer, which I always keep close at hand.  I took a few minutes to reflect on how such a thing could have occurred.

It turns out it all started when I received an e-mail from a "friend"; it seemed to be the usual non-sense,  "You have been electronically blessed by the all powerful spirit of the inter-web, yadda, yadda, yadda…don’t break the chain…send to twelve and a half people…or you’ll turn into a zombie."  I just deleted it as I usually do and went on to something else.  Then I lost four days of my life.  I truly believe that it was running out of Blue Beaver that "woke me up".  It’s a good thing I only had one keg in my basement bar or who knows what might have happened.

Anywho, if you get one of these chain-letter e-mails and you find that you’re too good of a friend to pass it on to the others on your mailing list; I would suggest one of two things.  Either get a bunch of addresses of people you don’t really like and send the letter to them or go to Chain Letters Anonymous.  They will provide you with the support you need to end your compulsions to not break the chain or, if that doesn’t work, they will allow you to send the chain-letter to them.

It’s good to know that such charitable organizations are out there.  By the way if you don’t pass on a link to this blog to at least 13.68 other people your hair will turn the colour of mouldy peaches and it will start to smell like them too.
