Ever get scared poopless by a vehicle? I was this morning.
I was dropping my wife off at 6:00 AM. We got out of the Dodge truck. (Note: I am not suggesting in this post that Dodges are bad trucks. This one obviously needs a mechanic, though.) We went around the back of the still-running truck, and I was facing away from it to give Nicole a kiss gooodbye. Just as our lips met, something forcefully started pushing me from behind. It was the truck!
Thank God I had parked in a wide open spot. I ran around at hyper speed and got the door open, then jumped in and hit the brakes. The gear indicator still showed PARK. I moved the gear selector a little and it actually went into park.
If There had been another vehicle behind me, I wouldn’t be typing this right now. I would best case scenario be at the hospital. You know the worst case. I was shook up for like, until now! So make sure your vehicle is in park. What a near-miss.

Well, actually Gary, no. But as you may notice, I never mentioned if the truck was a work related vehicle, and I do own a Dodge truck, so this may have been my own truck. I already reported the near miss to the world, so if it were my personal truck, then I would be covered.
