One Bad Scotch

Hello everybody,

Terribly sorry I haven’t written lately.  I had a bit of an "incident" the other day.  The doctor said the medical explanation was that I had, "one bad scotch".  It seems as though that one drink had something wrong with it; we’re waiting for the lab results to find out further details.  It is a bit of a mystery as to how this could have happened, the entire rest of the bottle of scotch was fine it was just the last three ounces.  At any rate it really did a number on me and I had to spend a few days recovering, which is why I haven’t been able to post.  Thanks for your understanding and patience in this matter.

“the entire rest of the bottle of scotch was fine, it was just the last three ounces …” LOL!

Second to beer, I love scotch. What kind of scotch was it? Perhaps you made the mistake of drinking a BLENDED instead of a SINGLE MALT, or perhaps it wasn’t old enough (a 15 year vs a 10 year)? Or maybe you watered it down instead of having it neat or on the rocks?

Just imagine with mixing a Sierra Nevada and a Firestone, and then diluting it with water. That would make me ill as well. Not sure how the age analogy fits in with beer though.

By the way, I like a doctor that speaks in plain English.
