Here is the weekend question from Captain Picard’s Journal

TWQ: Superheroes                             
"With superhero movies always coming out, TWQ (The Weekend Question) this week looks at the comic book genre.
Which superhero(es) did you always like? What name would you choose if you were a superhero, and what powers would you have?

My answers are:
I always liked the DC Comics, so Superman & Batman were my favourites. Around 1968-1974, there were lots of titles that featured them, and I bought every one of them.

My superhero would be The Night Stalker. In an all-black outfit and cape, he would root out wrongdoers. I would have the telepathic ability to sense evil and have telekinetic energy to move people against a wall if they attacked or keep them still

Tim’s Answer:
I have been a big Superman fan. I had access to my older cousin’s comic stash, and he had some of everything. Fantastic Four, X Men, you name it.
There are already tons of superheros with great strength, invulnerability, incredible intelligence, heat vision, telekinesis and other run of the mill abilities. I would be RidicuLad. I would counter each dangerous situation with an infectious analogy or a pun of immense proportions the likes of which would stop a villain in bemused introspection. The depths of my ridiculous arguments against natural laws of space and time would give my teammates the opportunity to soundly thrash the enemy with their incredible but regular superhero skills.
