Dear Ernie,
Err…what was the question again?
Captain Jean-Luc Picard in the Alpha-Quadrant
Dear Alpha Picard,
When I first read your question, I have to admit that I was a bit puzzled. The original question was right there in print, if you weren’t sure what it was, you could have just re-read it. Then I thought perhaps you just didn’t understand the question. However, looking back, it is a very straight forward question; surely you could not mis-understand it. Then I had a long look at your personal blog and I realized that what you were actually asking me was a very deep, existential and largely rhetorical question. So I pondered your query at great length. I examined it from all sides and applied it to the way that I was living my life.
I asked myself, "What was the question again?" at a time when I was able to be truly quiet. I looked deep into myself and my entire life opened up for me in a third person point of view. As I examined all of the events I have experienced and all the people I have met throughout all the time that I have spent on this planet we call Earth, I began to truly know myself.
Your question has opened me to a higher state of existence, a new plane of consciousness. I can honestly say that after reading your question, I will never be exactly the same person that I was before I read it. From the very depths of my soul I say, "Thank-you for helping me to be so open."

We sometimes have to look back at our life and see the past.
