16.06.07 # 18:27 # Beer Buddies # No CommentThere is another man out there that I would like to have a Blue Beaver Beer with; Larry Winget. I have mentioned him a couple of times in the past, but I will give a brief rundown here.
I first became aware of Larry about a year ago. I was in a bookstore and one particular title caught my eye. "Shut Up, Stop Whining and Get A Life - A Kick-Butt Approach to a Better Life"; with a title like that I just knew it had to be a good book, and I was correct. He recently released another book entitled "It’s Called Work For A Reason".
In addition to writing, Larry tours around giving lectures (he is billed as the world’s only Irritational Speaker), he has a television series on A&E called "Big Spender" where he confronts people who have massive debts and lousy spending habits. As if all that wasn’t enough he also just started writing a blog in order to dispense even more of his unique advice.
Following Larry’s advice has helped me to see my life in a different way and he could do the same for you. Just remember two of his favorite motto’s, "It’s your own damn fault" and "If your life sucks, it’s because you suck." If everyone just embraced those ideas, we would see a drastic change throughout society. Bartenders wouldn’t have to listen to total strangers’ sob stories anymore.
