Located about 210 kilometers west of Red Deer, Alberta,there is an impromptu roadside spa at Shunda Creek. The mud of the Shunda Creek has been found to completely alleviate the symptoms of this disease. In order to gain the full effect, pilgrims to the spot must wade naked into the creek and fully immerse themselves. The mud seems to lose its healing powers if removed from the area and must be at the same temperature as its natural environment or the effect is lost. According to Jim Nelson of Nordegg Resort Lodge, all sufferers of Decievamialosis Gullibilisitis that have followed instructions to the letter have been completely cured and when they leave they have a new outlook on life.
“ I have never needed the treatment myself, but I have helped many into the creek so they can come out invigorated and a little wiser,” Jim stated with a smile. “ We always have some towels and  genuine Saskatchewan Sealskin blankets handy for after the treatment, and if they can handle the laughter, I mean, if they would like to sit in front of the fireplace with some caring companionship afterwards, they are quite welcome in the resort.”
