It’s one of those moments where you are walking along in a public place and someone tells you your fly is down.
Well, it’s not that embarrassing, but it is kinda funny to have it pointed out that I spelled copyright wrong.
Wendy at I Want To Be 60 handily noticed my typo, write(?) up there  in our logo image, underneath Ernie’s picture. I could say it was Ernie’s fault, but for his lack of involvement in my creation. He must be guilty by association.
I could say I did it on purpose, as part of a play on words. Too bad I wasn’t clever enough to think of that one. I guess I will just have to admit I screwed up.
Now that I know about the problem, I have a dilemma. One part of me wants to fix it. The other part of me is too darn lazy and thinks I should go with it as is. That way, if anyone ever points it out again, I can feel clever as I explain that I made an inadvertent funny.
I have decided to support the latter and just leave the mistake. The correct spelling of this ‘don’t steal our writing and other content please’ message can be found in another location on this site.

  1. I did notice the ‘copyright’ error, but never mentioned it!

I noticed it first time I was here, and was too polite to say anything cause I thought it was an inside joke :-)

Well, you are now all in on the inside joke :-)
There’s an emoticon to make you happy, Ernie!

I thought it was intentional. However, now that you say it was an error…I can say I see that error a lot. It’s a common mistake, but now that you know about it and intend to leave it.. it’s just an added charm to your already charming blog here.

It is high time to trademark the typo term then! – Mike
