28.08.07 # 18:23 # Beer Buddies # One CommentWell, what a coincidence. Tim called me earlier today and advised me to check out those videos on Absolutely True, so of course I did. For me they were not quite drool inducing but still pretty damn funny. Then I went over to YouTube to check in on Josh Rimer’s new contest, and I noticed he had a new video posted. Apparently after Miss Teen South Carolina’s first response Josh had an opportunity to ask her a few questions regarding Canada. Check it out for yourself, the last line is so awesome that it very nearly did make me drool.
And while we’re on the subject of my Beer Buddies, I went to to look at Larry Winget’s blog. If I may be serious for a moment; his most recent post spoke to me so powerfully that it damn near brought a tear to my eye. He perfectly sums up exactly how I’ve been feeling about my co-workers lately. You really have to go read the entire thing for yourself, but here’s a couple of brief excerpts:
"We spend so much time and money worrying about the rights of the employee that we forget about the rights of the business. If an employee isn’t doing his job – isn’t earning his money – isn’t doing what he is paid to do – he has no rights. Fire him."
"Larry’s all time best advice for business success:
Do what you said you were going to do, when you said you were going to do it, in exactly the way you said you were going to do it."
I can’t think of any better advice than that, and not just for business but for all aspects of your life.

Come on Ernie, now you’re f*in killin’ me with this Josh Rimer video. I had seen the Miss SC thing so many times I didn’t think I could laugh at it anymore, but The Josh Rimer from The Canada just such as.
