You would never be known again as Johnny one-tongue. All would know you as the multi-talented genius that you are (or you want them to think you are!) You could engage in discussions that would exclude those who couldn’t speak the other lingo. You could help translate for lost or distressed travelers. Eventually, you could travel to another locale and utilize your linguistic skills in foreign lands.
Now that we’ve examined the possibilities, what language should you learn?
A helpful language for bloggers might be CSS. How cool would it be to run into a fellow blogger on the street and converse only in Cascading Style Sheets? I myself know a few phrases of that one:

Of course, I’m no expert on that one. I might accidentally get sent to the wordpress-content-html folder instead of the biffy. I need to spend some time living with people who only speak in CSS for a few weeks to get my code legs.
You might also consider Klingon. Yes, it is a real language! We all know how cool trekkies are and how much everyone else envies their coolness. Learning Klingon is a sure way into the ranks of the Star Trek fans. Forget about visiting the homeworld, though. Airfare prices are a killer.
If you were looking for the bathroom you could say nuqDaq ‘oH puchpa”e’.
.Or how about the insult, "Your mother has a smooth forehead!" : Hab SoSlI’ Quch!
No matter which language you pick, it will broaden your horizons and help you communicate with others. So get out there and learn.
