We All Have Cell Phones, Come On Let’s Get Real

Published on November 7, 2007 by in Uncategorized

As of April 1, 2003 in Newfoundland and Labrador; it is illegal to "use a hand-held cellular phone while driving".  Anyone caught doing so can be charged under a number of laws "including, but not limited to, those related to dangerous driving, careless driving  and (in case of an accident) criminal negligence causing injury or death".

Of course just seeing a Newfie behind the wheel is cause for alarm.  And the most common injury associated with driving while talking on the phone for them is a serious clothes-lining because their cell-phones are tin cans with strings attached.

  1. The same law is applicable in India.

I have 2 cell phones, I have purchased 2 car kits.

I dont like blue tooth hands free that fit into the ear as you need to wear them all the time.

I enjoy my car kits. Maybe this can help others also, it is not wise to talk on phone while driving, as it leads to criminal charges.
