Speaking of words; I recently came across some very interesting and enlightening videos on YouTube. There is a “teacher” who calls herself Hot For Words. She investigates words to discover their origins. So far she has covered somewhere around 75 different words including, bimbo, amazon, candidate and (one of my favourites) antidisestablishmentarianism. Watching her videos has certainly made me feel smarter; even just looking at a picture of her I can feel one part of my body becoming…engorged. It’s like all the blood is rushing to my…cerebrum. Check out this video, you’ll know what I mean.
Not unlike David Lee Roth, I am indeed ‘Hot for Teacher.’ Anyway, I stopped by to tell you that I don’t know if you are down with the whole meme thing – but I’ve tagged you with one on my site – participation is completely optional.
