Let’s All Be Grammatically Correct

July 20th, 2008 · 6 Comments

I’m sure a lot of you out there are quite familiar with Tim’s and my views regarding poor spelling and/or lack of proper grammatical usage.  Which is exactly why I thought I’d mention it again (well, that and the fact that I have nothing new to say so I figured I’d just put a new spin on something that I have already mentioned several times; after all Google can’t punish us if it is technically new content even though the subject has been done repeatedly).
Anywise, instead of me going off on yet another rant; I’ll just let you listen/watch what James At War (with the help of Marina and Sheena Melwani) has to say on the subject.

    Ernie,
I was wondering what had happened to you guys (long time, no post). However, it’s ok if you take 10 DAYS (wow, 10 days?) off between posts if you follow up with videos of this caliber (and like the video on “how to talk to a teenager”). This video ROCKS. I’m glad it has subtitles though. Anyway, I will do my best to avoid bad grammer, though it is a challenge after a six pack of Blue Beaver. :) ~ Steve, the trade show display guy, purveyor of “Grammatically Correct” trade show display booths

Hey guys, oops, do I feel dumb. As I was preparing to leave another comment on your other post on this subject, I started wondering if I had spelled “grammer” wrong. I checked Merriam-Webster Online and yes I did. Mea Culpa! At least I’m not the only one to spell grammer wrong. ~ Steve, the chastened trade show display guy…

Hey, that’s okay Steve. I’ll mention it to my Grammer later this week when I visit her out at the farm.

Hey Tim, I guess I set myself up for that one. Please tell your Grammer that Mr Trade Show Display thinks her grandson is hilarious, and wonders if he got his sense of humor from her. In the meantime, I’ll werk on my spelling abilities. ~ Steve (aka Mr Trade Show Display)

Thats a crazy video. Where do you find such stuff. I can imagine you having some site visitors and commentators who don’t use English as their first language.
