This one’s a funny story but does happen in real life. Many kids who play violent games miss to determine who they should shoot or fire. In games, they just shoot and shoot anyone they see. The kid here shot his grandfather’s dogs maybe because he found nothing to shoot at.

Parents should try to participate with children in video games with them and try to find games that allow them to develop mentally, rather than games are all about crime, murder, zombies, etc.

Yep, Grandpa should have spelled it out for a kid not from the country side. And I’ll join on the other bandwagon. It is not the video games, it is the lack of parenting.

I wouldn’t be surprised if video game makers started having something like this. They’re already fearless with games that kill people so violently. Probably just a matter of time. So sad.

For anyone, this story may sound funny but if you think deep it has a lot of meaning hidden. These days game makers have gone a bit ahead with their games although they do have a RATING system in place but many kids not qualifying for those ratings also get hands to those games and play. Here I think the role of parents becomes more active because it’s their responsibility what type of game or movie their kid is playing and watching.

Parents should try and get involved with kids in playing video games with them and try to find out games which will help them develop mentally rather than games which are all about crime, killings, zombies etc.

P.S. I am visiting your blog after a very long time, I liked the old theme because this new theme is sort of sluggish while scrolling, do you also find it or is it the problem of my PC ?

There was a story on the news not to long ago about a kid who murdered another kid over something he did in an online game. Kinda scary.

First I feel bad for the dogs, but I thought in the beginning when I started to read the article that he will accidentally hurt the grandfather. We are so used to watch this movies that if you give a gun to a child that would happen. I do not like these video games . I have only girls and thank God they do not like these games anyhow but they have boys that are their friends and I do not allow them even to watch these videos or even movies like that. It is scary to what our world is coming to.
