Yes, sometimes I get 100′s of comments in my Akismet, thanks to Akismet, otherwise how can I keep on deleting every individual comments.

i think you are very clear about your spam rules since many people post spam comments without reading the rules and didn’t get the approval. so its better to comment in proper manner.

I would love to try keywordluv, but then I know that when the spammers search for “keywordluv + keyword” those bastards will find me. As an experiment I disabled the nofollow attribute on a wordpress blog I have, and only mention “dofollow” on an image. That way, they can’t find me that easy!

Cardiogirl: That was supposed to be Gingah with an ‘h’. Whoops.
So far you have never been in spam, just the moderation .
You should pick keywords you want your site to show up in searches on Google for. For instance, if you want web searchers who type “sweep the leg” into the Google window, then you are right on target! Of course, that might be a pretty tough keyword to crack so it might take some time… if you went after “Jacked Gingah”, you would own that one in short order since there is very little competition.

What’s up with these key words? I don’t know how to use them but it looks like everyone else is writing firstname at keyword.

So I’m gonna try an experiment here and add Sweep the Leg to my name. Again, I have no idea what that does, but I’m going for it. And let me know if I immediately went to spam.

I will be back to look for Sweep the Leg as an anti-spam word. That’s a promise and a threat.

Oh yeah, Laundry-Folders Printing sucked at math. *I* was the one who carried Erick.

p.s. Your anti-spam spelling of gingah is a variation it seems.

I prefer the more formal gingah with an H. I see you go with the colloquial spelling that drops the H.
