There is indeed another explanation for the cliff diving episode. Bella wanted to try cliff diving with Jacob and didn’t wait for him like she should have. After re-watching that scene in the movie, however, I can see where the misinterpretation came from. Other than this, I value your ideas. Bella’s romance with Edward borders on obsession. Her mother, however, isn’t absent. Bella chose to live with her father so her mother could travel with her new husband, but she is in constant communication with her daughter via phone calls and e-mail. Bella and Edward even go to visit her early in Eclipse.

I watch all twilight movies but my fave is the first one. All the movies are great and I find jacob cute on the 2nd movie that my fiancee stop me from giggling I will buy a collection of those movies

I love these things. It’s hard not to notice the prominent “necrophilia” and “bestiality” undertones in Twilight. Your graphic illustrates this nicely.

Everyone was raving about twilight when I was at college and at first I thought it wasn’t my thing but I read one of the books and couldn’t stop, they were brilliant! I actually think the books are much better than the film.
