My cousin just got married and I now know what a real monster is. Forget the abominable snowman, forget zombies. A real monster is a bride whose photographer, groom and father are all late for her wedding. I was afraid, very afraid. Luckily it all worked out but I saw a terrifying glimpse for a few moments.

I remember having a book about an abominable snowman (and plagiarising heavily from it at school when I was 12 and had to write a story). In it, the snowman turned out to be all gentle and loving and lonely and it was complete crap. They're supposed to be mean and imposing! Stupid children's story book.

I Think the ultimate monster should be a lady with a million cuts in her body. a bit similar to a zombie but much much much more gross.

I don’t know if the combination zombie/were-arctic-wolf/abominable snowman would really work. First of all what would happen when things warm up? Would the abominable snowman part hold the hybrid animal back because it would more than likely melt? I think the zombie/were-arctic-wolf combo is great, but you need one more contributing part… Maybe add the vampire back in?

The type of zombie may determine the creatures ability to survive in sub-zero temperatures.
In older zombie movies, zombies were reanimated dead tissue. In the newer flicks, they are all victims of a disease. So it is uncertain whether or not they died before turning into an infected being. Dead tissue would probably freeze up solid and not be able to move, while an infected creature might still have some body warmth to keep the muscles mobile.
But yes, probably too much thought into the subject.

I got to say that adding wolf parts to a zombie would certainly make them much more formidable opponents, whether it be in the arctic tundra or just around town. Personally, zombies have always been pretty low on my list of scary monsters, as they usually lack speed and intelligence, which is why they tend to be so easily defeated. The only thing they usually have going for them is strength in numbers, but if they were more wolf like, this would add a whole new level of danger. Not sure if I thought about that too deeply though...
