I realize that’s a pretty controversial thing to say, but if you bear with me I can prove it.
In the Bible it says that God created man in His own image and gave him dominion over all the beasts of the world (or words to that effect). So Adam was just sitting around the Garden of Eden dominating the beasts. Then God thought maybe Adam was lonely. Now, He could have made another guy so that Adam would have someone to talk to about his hobbies and they could have watched the lower primates playing hockey (as they still do to this day) while sitting on the couch drinking beer and eating nachos in the Garden. Everything would have been just hunky-dorry if it had been Adam and Steve.
Instead, God created woman. I figure that even though Adam and Eve didn’t know how to have sex yet they still must have felt something that they couldn’t quite explain. This would lead to complications. As we all know it was Eve who was tempted by the serpent into eating from the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Then she took the fruit to Adam and coerced him into eating it. For the record; I personally have never had any respect for guys who allow their…hormones to do the thinking for them, however I have accepted the fact that it happens all the time. So Adam didn’t think with his big head and he ate the fruit and then they were both screwed (although on the plus side they then learned how to screw). But they got kicked out of the Garden and they had to go out into the real world where evil was everywhere.
So you see, it’s all right there in the Bible and we all know that the Bible is 100% fact. You just have to know how to interpret the complex metaphors. Of course some people out there might try and blame the whole thing on God. They might say that He knew exactly what Adam and Eve would do as soon as He made them and He just let it happen. Well, to these people I want to say; get thee behind me, I don’t want to get hurt when you’re struck by lightning.

First of all, the old saying is not that money is the root of all evil, but the love of money is the root of all evil. Using that same construct it argues that women aren’t the root of all evil but the love of women (or at least the lusting thereafter).
Let me also point out the men wrote all this shit down. Sure, it might have gone down like they said, though the women might just have been thinking, do I really want to stay ignorant? I mean, isn’t knowledge a good thing? Nowadays, if you can’t tell right from wrong, they say you’re insane. Maybe she had a pair unlike ol’ Adam, if you know what I mean.
I’m thinking she just wanted him to get off his fat butt and DO something with his life instead watching monkeys screw.Or maybe he didn’t pass on that little restriction on to her. “Honey,” he said, I’m all out of fruit and the monkeys are just about to start. Could you get me some and remember, oh, there goes Charley…”
She wanders off, picks fruit never knowing it’s verbotten and, when she brings it to him, he eats some and then completely freaks and blames her for everything, tearing his hair and whining something fierce. She probably had to have sex with him just to shut him up.

I stopped at sitting on the couch eating nachos in the Garden. That sounds like fun having an upholstered couch out there in the middle of the yard, near trees and screwing monkeys. And the couch wouldn’t be a ripped up white trash couch with an old floral pattern from the 80s, sitting atop a few cinder blocks.

I too agree that women are the root cause of all evil and I must say that woman initiates the cause that cause evil. But my mom and my girl friend are exceptions because they are so good then any other woman.

Men think they rule the world. The battle for brawn vs beauty vs brains has being going on for a while. Dont mis-underestimate.

What is the old theory? Women are inherently evil. They may not mean to be, but they just are.
typical for a man to blame everything wrong with the world on a woman. Bottom line is that if God had created STEVE instead of Eve you would be reciting some Brokeback love affair right now and probably enjoying it. Not to mention men being as simple minded as they are, you would have forgotten the fruit was forbidden and eaten it without any coaxing from your new butt buddy and been kicked out of Eden anyway. At least with Eve, you don’t have to take it up the rear.
Sorry to be so blunt, but facts are facts and we both know you know what I am saying is true. And if Eve could so easily convince Adam to eat the forbidden fruit well… all I can say is I guess we know who wore the pants in THAT family!

That is without a doubt very controversial topic and it becomes even more controversial when you’ve mentioned Bible and Adam & Eve here.
The story is correct but actually you have mentioned it the way as if Adam was tempted, that was not the case to be. There are hidden messages and meanings to what Prophets do, and they’re definitely metaphors in stories like this in bible and we’ve to find the esoteric meanings behind them.
Who are we to put up a blame on God and on Prophets when in real we haven’t yet fully understood what he meant to say? You cannot say that anything is wrong simply because you didn’t understand it correctly.
I believe, such controversial topics and such questions which you have (many may have them), they need to do a thorough research and use their brains. The answers are there for us if only we search and find rather than put up a blame on Adam & Eve.
P.S. I have read a couple of comments which are not in proper manner, I think if you people don’t believe in religion, that’s your own right and we accept it but please stop insulting Prophets and other prominent figures of other religions.

God gave us all free will. With our free will comes desire then ultimately greed. Once greed kicks in, anything goes. So the root of all evil is really inside each of us. We all desire something to the point of greed.
