I realize that’s a pretty controversial thing to say, but if you bear with me I can prove it.
In the Bible it says that God created man in His own image and gave him dominion over all the beasts of the world (or words to that effect). So Adam was just sitting around the Garden of Eden dominating the beasts. Then God thought maybe Adam was lonely. Now, He could have made another guy so that Adam would have someone to talk to about his hobbies and they could have watched the lower primates playing hockey (as they still do to this day) while sitting on the couch drinking beer and eating nachos in the Garden. Everything would have been just hunky-dorry if it had been Adam and Steve.
Instead, God created woman. I figure that even though Adam and Eve didn’t know how to have sex yet they still must have felt something that they couldn’t quite explain. This would lead to complications. As we all know it was Eve who was tempted by the serpent into eating from the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Then she took the fruit to Adam and coerced him into eating it. For the record; I personally have never had any respect for guys who allow their…hormones to do the thinking for them, however I have accepted the fact that it happens all the time. So Adam didn’t think with his big head and he ate the fruit and then they were both screwed (although on the plus side they then learned how to screw). But they got kicked out of the Garden and they had to go out into the real world where evil was everywhere.
So you see, it’s all right there in the Bible and we all know that the Bible is 100% fact. You just have to know how to interpret the complex metaphors. Of course some people out there might try and blame the whole thing on God. They might say that He knew exactly what Adam and Eve would do as soon as He made them and He just let it happen. Well, to these people I want to say; get thee behind me, I don’t want to get hurt when you’re struck by lightning.
Woman is the not the source of all evil. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Well I really feel women are the root of evil but we men are so involved in them that we can’t even imagine a world without them. So, may them be evil they have the place of God in our worlds.
The women are really important in our lives. And people who don’t respect them just remember that even your mother is a women.
Eve didnt know what the consequences would be! She was pretty new to it all aswell! Do you honestly think two men wouldnt have been tempted anyway. They would have got pretty hungry! And we wouldnt all be here without eve would we.

. Joking aside I think it’s still greed for power and money as the root of all evil.
I think that is quite true a woman made me really evil. Now I did make things that I couldn’t imagine I did do now I’m really doing a lot of things just to please her even make someone suffer just to make her happy.
Well I don’t feel that women rather Eve was responsible for the deed that happened with Adam. If Adam was that smart why did he ate the fruit….??
Saying women are evil is all well and good but men are more than evil if they want to impress women who are evil. That’s like impressing the devil. That’s why women are the devil not just evil. Just like eve who the devil talked through to turn Adam evil, women talk to men to make them more evil and once they’ve found the most evil man they will be your partner forever because they think they can change men because they feel guilty.
Both were responsible but because life begins with the male Adam polluted mankind.
Eve was deceived not Adam. She was designed to be a helper and not a leader over Adam and Lucifer knew exactly what he was doing in approaching her first. For women have not position but influence. Had not Adam not sinned Eve would have been escorted out of the garden and replaced with another helper or men would lead sinless lives and live forever while women would become fungible temporary helpers in need of God’s redemption or incapable of obtaining salvation.
Women are the root cause of not only evil, but also for all innovations, dedication, determination, excellence et all, hehe

Neither good men nor good women are evil. Neither evil men nor evil women are good. Gender is irrelevant once we get beyond our personal distortions of our experiences. Humor, however, is always good. Lighten up.
My girlfriend spent six months cheating on me and lying about it. About as evil as they come. There are plenty of guys that do the same thing, though. We need to be responsible for our own actions, not worry about other people’s hurtful behavior.

well … I prefer not to believe everything the Bible says, after all, is only one book that was made according to several papers by several places and found that the man rewrote.
I just broke up with my girlfriend because she cheated on me with my best friend. Not only that, but when we were together, she was always trying to get me to spend more money. She was a golddigging whore. She’d have got Adam in trouble a lot quicker than Eve managed. I may be a bit bitter right now but I agree, women are the root of all evil.

children = innocence = zero
then when;
women = evil
this means it must be:
men = good
because:
positive + negative = zero
so:
good + evil = zero
so;
men + women = children
Okay, math wizards, here is fundamental practical proof that women are evil. Saturday, the woman asks me for 20 bucks to get some groceries. She comes home with a bag of stuff, a receipt for $12.83, and two $3.00 lottery tickets. I don’t get the change. Oh, well, I think. She scratches off the tickets, and wins $96.00. She cashes the tickets in, and buys a T-shirt and a tank of gas, which leaves about $37.00 that just disappears. No further mention of my 20 bucks. Evil….they’re just Evil.

I couldn’t agree more with this post. I used to be able to get away from the woman in my life but I have swapped my day job in town for one working closely with her on a day to day basis. Some might say that sounds like bliss but sometimes it can certainly test your patience – love the blog b.t.w.

Hey Sam a problem with this “proof” occurred to me immediately: Since evil is negative, the square root of evil must be imaginary, which would mean that money is imaginary, and therefore, by definition, so is time.
Then I realized that, in my life at least, that’s pretty much true.
The joke says that girls require time and money. Its true. An as for we guys require girls then it makes us evil too and the real meaning of the verse is love of money leads to evil not the money it self. This is a well constructed joke so its pointless to argue the science behind it.
I agree with oliviya that not all women are the root of eveil. It depends on the person and that does not depend if it is a man or woman or a lesbian or a gay. If you have a evil heart regardless of your gender then your the root of all evils
Time and Money” would be time + money, not time * money, therefore this fails on the first line.” If you don’t spend any time, you will not get a woman. So: time=0 -> woman=0 Therefore it must be time*money
I think the answer lies in the question: Was the Snake a boy or girl snake?? Eve wouldn’t have done what she did without the evil Snake whispering in her ear. He probably offered her a pair of Manolos or something for when she could no longer go barefoot.
Not all women are root of all evils. There are some guys too who started the crime snd create a big mistake. So please do not judge us according to our gender.
Women are the root of all evil, and this is coming from a woman! I think men would live in more peace without us. Of course, they’d be gay and some fights would break out over who had the biggest er… home… but women are so bitchy and full of hate towards each other.
Oh blah, to be technical, what the Bible verse means is that the love of money is a root of all sorts (ie, many kinds) of evil. Look it up in a commentary. Anyways, it’s a funny joke.

Our Holy text says adam and eve were tempted together by Satan. This is why islam is different because we respect both the sexes equally.
Women being referred to as the root of all evil were the women in the bible in the old testament. I strongly disagree that it applies to the women now. Men can be great sources of evil too. Our world is just so cruel nowadays.

LOL, I love your Bible theory! But on the other hand, does the story above prove that the Bible states women are evil? We might be easier to tempt, I agree. Perhaps that is what the Bible meant.
I’m a female Grand Rapids divorce attorney and many would say, “a woman attorney who specializes in divorce” has got to be the epitome of evil, lol. Actually, I’m not that bad, I’m pretty cool to hang out with, like many woman out there. I get the point of the story here, but I believe most would agree… just like man’s law there are many interpretations of the bible. BTW, woman rock! lol
When we interpret Bible it is always good to consider the culture, context, time, etc. before coming to some inference on the basis of one particular verse. It is not fair to interpret that women are weak or women are the cause for evil, etc. Even to say that they are NOT the cause of evil itself seems to undermine them! Can we think of a universe without women?
That is the beauty of life, god does not made us as robots, we have our free will to choose, woman is not a root of evil just like money..money isn’t root of evil but the love of money is, similarly with temptation, temptation is not evil but if you yield with it then it makes you evil. so that’s how complex life is. its a matter of choice.
