So; how about that Lady Gaga? Isn’t she…something? To be honest I’m really not sure what to make of her. Her videos are just so elaborate and bizarre; whenever one comes on t.v. I can’t change the channel, I have to watch. The really strange thing, though, is that I can’t figure out if I like her music or not. I never hear her on the radio stations that I listen to; only when I see the videos which never fail to capture my complete attention. “Telephone” featuring Beyonce and “Bad Romance” are especially description defying.
Her newest one, “Alejandro” is a little bit more…less out there; but only by comparison. It still features some crazy costumes, like for instance a machine gun bra (come to think of it “Bad Romance” has her wearing some sort of a sparkler bra that sets fire to a bed and the guy laying on it; maybe the lesson here is: keep your hands off of Gaga’s ta-tas). For some reason, “Alejandro” reminds me of Madonna’s “Like A Prayer”. I think it’s partly the sacrilegious imagery and partly the overall sound of the song (which I am just beginning to notice after about a dozen viewings).
Regular viewers of Much Music’s Video On Trial will know that Lady Gaga is a “repeat offender”. I believe that every one of her videos been “brought to justice” at one time or another. The jurors comments are usually very crass, but still funny and even kind of accurate. One thing they’ve pointed out, that I’ve also noticed, is Gaga’s changing appearance. Sometimes she looks like a very attractive young lady and other times she looks more like John Leguizamo in drag. In “Bad Romance” she has at least three different faces. There have also been rumours about her being a trans-sexual; I don’t believe it though. She dances around in just her bra and panties in every one of her videos. I’ve examined these scenes very closely (just so that I could write an educated piece) and I certainly have never seen any sort of…evidence which would support that theory and lead me to become confused and question my own sexuality (like what happened when I watched “The Crying Game”).
So, Lady Gaga, your videos are like a proverbial train wreck; I just can’t look away.
Say, something just occurred to me. What if Lady Gaga and Marilyn Manson did a video together? What would that look like?
To be honest, I don’t watch her videos. I like two songs on one album and that’s it.
But hey, what’s up with all the stray question marks in the post? It’s kind of annoying. Ah, but perhaps that’s your intention – to be as annoying as Lady Gaga’s videos.

I heard a high school marching band playing “Bad Romance” the other day in a parade. When your songs are being massacred by a high school marching band, you’re not cool anymore.
I have never seen her videos. I have heard snippets of her songs. To me, she’s just another manufactured product, like a modern-day Madonna. Only I think Gaga has more talent in the costumery department. Gaga is more of a “performance artist,” with a focus on fashion design instead of choreography or singing. She’s the child of wealthy parents in NYC, so it’s not surprising that she got where she is. It’s not like she came out of nowhere. Her career was carefully planned and well-funded.

I think she just tries too hard to be…..something. Shocking? Bizaree? \”Artistic\”? They probably all fit.
Never understood the appeal at all. It’s like an entertainment act with some music thrown in for background noise.
Yeah, I have never really understood her either, but am fortunately able to change the channel when she comes one. With that said, I am glad you took the time to research these transgender claims. In the name of science, I may have to examine these said scenes, for the greater good.

I would like to see Lady GaGa do something with Marilyn Manson. Most of her collaborative efforts have been with Hip-Hop and R&B stars, probably because she is signed to Akon’s label – Convict Music. I would embrace a harder rock sound from GaGa.
aaahhhhhhh. that picture freaked me out. i really don’t understand the infatuation with lady googoo. her music sucks and she is a freak and that is why i have never watched her videos but i am sure they are just like every other music video they make these days.
oh and p.s. I think she is Marilyn Manson in disguise.

To me she is quite bizarre, the way she looks (well she probably looks good in descent clothes) makes me turn off TV every time I see her.

I think she is a talented musician and she is really stunning. She has took the UK by storm. I would say she is defiantly a little on the weird side with the way she dress however.
